Missing my kitchen!

When I am away from home for long, I miss my kitchen very much! I am not much of a cook, I just want the comfort of eating what I want to when I want to. And after 10 days of eating local food, I want to just make some soup and stay in for the night and watch some crappy comedy show, and just relax. :D

Janakpur!!!

I have a special relationship with Janakpur. After I was born, my dad got transferred there. I almost was named 'Janaki' in honor of the name of the town. It seems that time and again, something happens and connects me to Janakpur.

This time, it was 'neem ko paat'. I have horrible acne all over my face, and I have been trying all type of treatment. Last week a friend told me that if my use 'neem ko paat ko facemask' would help my acne. So, I asked one of my friend, who was heading to the J town for work, to bring me some. The poor friend was on a official trip with his bosses, and couldn't actually tell them what the leaves were for. He finally told someone from Janakpur that he needed some Neem leaves. Seems like, this guy from Janakpur needed some favor from my friend! What happened was that, they were about to head back to Kathmandu today, when they came out of their office, they saw a whole Neem branch on their SUV's roof. Almost half a tree!!!!!

Since then, I've been getting panic stricken texts from my friend about the possible ways to transfer the Neem tree from their office to my home tomorrow! So much for a calm day!!! xxx

Superman of Matidevi!!

What happens if a goofball meets a goofball? The idea of a movie comes up, of course!!! And this time it's going to be named 'Superman of Matidevi'!!! Mind you this Superman does things a lot differently than his namesake!! He has characteristic of a Devdas! and would probably swoop down to buy poetry book! Oh wait! he can't fly! His weapon of choice is a Mountainbike, so he'll probably swish down Everest and fly out from the clouds to rescue his Devdasi ( was that what Aishwarya Rai called in the movie? )

Reminds me, if a guy and his wife go to Bipasyana Meditation and he cannot call his wife by her name, what will he call her? - Bipasi (Basu) ?

Now, to go back to our Superman! I know he is planning a super trek from Maitidevi toEverest Base Camp in a mountain bike!! Updates on the movie will be frequently posted here! Words are out that the Vampress, who's also the director has done an excellent job and that the movie is already creating Oscar buzz.

Be on the lookout people! Our Superman will be wearing black full body Spandex, and red underwear over it. You never know, when he might swish by on his bicycle to save the world!!!! xxx
